B L U E B E R R Y   F R E N C H   T O A S T   F O R   B R E A K F A S T

It goes without saying that what i just ate made love in my mouth. No, this is not an exaggeration in the slightest, why would i lie to you? Despite the fact that i'm still going through my January blues of deadlines and all that is of model making, breakfast is still as my mother would say "the most important meal of the day". Let's face it, breakfast at university is kind of a myth, it's usually a yes or no, never a maybe. So i decided that breakfast needs to happen everyday. So take out the 'no' and the 'maybe', its a must!

Breakfast, Breakfast, Breakfast... Why are you so important?

So whilst i've been skipping out on my morning grub,  i've missed out on the extra energy that would have made me more pro active and focused. Breakfast foods are also a great source of nutrients including vitamin B and iron and apparently breakfast makes you more happy and less stressed.

Mmm, i think i get happy just looking at food, but anyway whilst gazing at one of my favourite blogs, Nishaantishu, I found this blueberry beauty and had to try!

For two you will need:

- One and half teaspoons of jam
- Bread (can be any, i used fruit and nut and sliced it after)
- Two eggs
- Blueberries, strawberries (you name it, whatever floats your boat)
- Honey/ maple syrup
-Vanilla essence
- French cream
(you can add condensed milk, but i preferred it without)

Get a mixing bowl and add half a tub of french cream with the one and half teaspoons of blueberry Jam. Mix it till it's blueberry purple and stick it in the fridge.

Next, get your bread and cut it into slices if not already done and crack the eggs in the bowl and add a few drops of vanilla.

Turn the cooker on and add butter to the frying pan.

After, add the bread to the egg mixture, but don't completely soak it as the bread will become messy.

Add the bread to the frying pan and toss it onto both sides until its golden.

When done let the bread cool and dollop the blueberry mixture and add another bread piece like a sandwich.

After this, add the fruit and a way we go with the honey/ maple syrup on top.

Mmmmmmmmmm

Bon Apetit!
Nishaantishu, it's incredible! Thank you!
